SproutLoud Announces Key Hires in their Executive Leadership Team to Manage Company's Growth

Sunrise, Fla.: South Florida-based marketing technology provider SproutLoud announced today that key roles on their executive leadership team have been filled with a focus on managing explosive growth. Former private equity investor at Brockway Moran & Partners and Harvard Business School MBA, David Spinola has assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer, and former Director of Operations and Human Resources at Northwestern Mutual, Samantha Downie is now SproutLoud's Vice President of People and Culture.

"These are key positions within our leadership team which demand high levels of performance, strategy, execution, and innovation," said SproutLoud CEO Jared Shusterman. "David Spinola brings a unique perspective from private equity and traditional finance essential to properly managing growth for our short and long-term success."

"Our people are the heart of SproutLoud's value proposition, so having Samantha Downie, a world-class operations, training, and human resources expert, ensures our SproutLoud culture grows in step with and feeds our business success,” said Shusterman. "The elite level of expertise that David and Samantha bring to SproutLoud is a key component in our plans for continued growth and leadership in this space."

"I have spent a lot of time evaluating companies from an investor’s perspective. When you look at the crucial components of success it is clear that SproutLoud gets it," said David Spinola. "In my previous roles in private equity, I have found that business success comes down to three key questions: does the company create clear value for its customers, are they differentiated in the market they serve, and is their revenue success predictable. When I looked at SproutLoud, I saw a company that so clearly excelled at these criteria I knew I wanted to join the team."

"As a CEO, Jared Shusterman has built a great team," said Samantha Downie. "But when you are growing as fast as SproutLoud is, it can be difficult to maintain the same spirit of innovation while scaling your business. My expertise is aligning culture, performance management, and people development with the goals of the business. Managing that alignment at SproutLoud has been unique because the culture is so clearly focused on speed and innovation. Unlike previous companies where you are trying to build enthusiasm, at SproutLoud, the challenge has been to focus the energy and reflect it in our policies and management philosophy. It’s a wonderful challenge to solve."

Throughout her career that spans more than 20 years, Samantha Downie has been nationally recognized for best-in-class training, development, and leadership and was instrumental in achieving measureable ranking improvements for Fortune 500 companies like Northwestern Mutual and Top 100 CPA firm Kaufman, Rossin & Company.
